The graduates of the University Departments(and TEI or equivalent to them, Α.Σ.ΠΑΙ.Τ.Ε. of Greece or abroad)   have the right to participate in the qualifying examinations of the Department. They are classified, after written examinations, at a rate of 12% on the number of students admitted to the Department of Economics of the School of Economics of the University of Western Macedonia.

The qualifying exams take place in the following courses of the first semester:

  • Introduction to Macroeconomic Theory
  • General Mathematics
  • Introduction to Business Administration

All successful candidates have the right to apply for exemption from courses they have already taken in the department of origin.

The classification takes place in the first semester of studies and the successful candidates are exempted from the above examined courses.
